escapework.net is the brainchild of two thirty-something blokes who get easily bored with work and need to escape to the internet and email to stay awake during the day.
After years of chatting about funny gags, annoying celebrities, sport and all the other non-work subjects out there, we thought we’d try and get our daily thoughts on to the internet in a blog style format.
Spanning the globe (Ashley in Sydney, Paul in London), we’re going to bring you a mix of things we find funny or annoying, whether it is world news or something that just happened in our office. We expect you to join in and comment on things that matter to you and help us make this blog a place where anyone can truly escape from work.
Maybe our ramblings will encourage some informed debate, maybe they will just be used against us by future employers. We’ll see what happens.
