Phrase of the week….
Filed Under: Gags, Phrase of the Week
This weeks term is:
Console History
A Console History is the term used when describing ones own history of electronic game playing throughout the ages.
One may use the term when describing playing a particular type of game genre over say a period of 20 years.
When to use it?
Let’s say there is an email thread discussing say football games ranging from Pele Soccer on the Atari, via Kick off 2 on the Amiga, right through to current games on the PS3.
One person could claim that they are a better player of sports simulators as they have a longer/ better console history than someone who specialised in RPGs or Platfrom games.
