Man Sells Life on eBay

ebay.jpg

Following on from yesterday’s cornflake for auction on eBay, a man in Australia is about to auction his entire life on the site.

Ian Usher from Perth, Australia, has decided that enough is enough and he does not want his life anymore.  He is going to sell everything  - lifestyle, house, car, motorbike, job, friends.  All of this is going on eBay on the 22nd June 2008 with a starting price of AU $1.  The house itself is valued at AU $420,000 (£195,000).

On the day it is sold he intends to walk out of the front door with his wallet in one pocket and his passport in the other, and get on the train with no idea where he is going.

Sounds like a fantastic way to get a totally fresh start.  Perfect for going travelling around the world and just seeing where you end up.   I’m not so sure how you sell your friends?  He says that he will offer introductions to his network but how do you put a value on that?
